Anyone watched Religulous?

Here is a link to what i think is the full documentary on youtube.

I just watched it and, although I gather that Bill Maher is totally against people believing in God, I found myself agreeing with a lot of what he said. And finding it so disheartening that doubtful, humble spirituality isn't what is seen by most; mega-church fundamementalism is. If any of you have watched it, or get a chance to, I'd love to hear your comments :)

Yes, I've seen that film! It's a good one.

I agree with almost everything Bill Maher says but sometimes wish he could be a little more diplomatic.

He's a funny guy but sometimes I think he pushes people too far. There are a lot of wonderful religious people out there. Many people are able to separate their personal beliefs from what other people believe. They might privately wish that others would convert to their religion but they'd never shove anything in your face.

Unfortunately, as you said, too often the lunatic fringe is what ends up on the news as representative of everyone in that group. This isn't just a religious thing - it happens to every group.

Reporters are always going to zoom in on the most extreme behaviour because it makes for more interesting news.
