God and Being: Being is the counterpoint of nihilism. Nihilism means living without values. According to Marcel, values are the heralds of Being. This raises the question of whether Being is something to be discovered or something to be created. Quote: "Human life is an offensive against the repetitious mechanism of the universe." Alfred North Whitehead. For those who don't like the term God, we can say God or the ultimate power bank which could be: "The Good, The True, and The Beautiful" or whatever. After studying Marcel's concrete philosophy, I could draw the conclusion that Being is in part discovered and in part created and the mechanism of this creativity and discovery is through The Theandric. The Theandric is a term that was used by the Philosopher Nikolai Berdyeav which means partnership between God and man.
